Delivery Terms & Conditions – Tantie Lorraine’s

Welcome to Tantie Lorraine’s! These Delivery Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all orders for our chilli products and Caribbean heritage goods delivered within the United Kingdom (UK). By placing an order with us, you (“the Shopper”) agree to these Terms.

 

1. Delivery Locations

•    UK Deliveries: We currently deliver exclusively within the United Kingdom.

•    International Orders: For deliveries outside the UK (including the EU), please contact us directly to discuss availability, shipping costs, local taxes, and import duties.

•    Special Postcodes: Deliveries to certain postcodes in Scotland, Northern Ireland, or remote areas may incur higher rates or extended delivery times. Please confirm delivery rates before placing your order.

 

2. Delivery Methods

•    We ship via Royal Mail or trusted national courier services.

•    Local Collection: In some cases, you may collect pre-arranged orders from selected markets or events where we trade. Please contact us in advance to confirm availability.

 

3. Dispatch & Delivery Timelines

•    Chilli Products: We aim to dispatch within 3 working days of receiving your order.

•    Baked Goods: Please allow 7–10 working days for dispatch due to their freshly made nature.

•    Next Day Delivery: Applies to the day after dispatch (not the day after placing your order).

•    During peak seasons or unforeseen events, delays may occur. If so, we will notify you via email.

 

4. Shipping Charges

•    Checkout Display: Shipping charges will be shown at checkout before you confirm your order.

•    Free or Promotional Shipping: Any free delivery promotions will be clearly stated on our website.

 

5. Tracking & Delivery Confirmation

•    You will receive a dispatch email containing tracking details (where available).

•    Delivery confirmation may be provided by the courier upon completion.

 

6. Order Acceptance & Delays

•    We reserve the right to accept, reject, or cancel orders at our discretion.

•    If additional information or verification is needed, we will contact you, which may cause slight delays.

 

7. Liability

•    We are not liable for delivery delays caused by factors beyond our control, including extreme weather, courier disruptions, strikes, or natural events.

 

8. Receipt of Goods

•    Inspection: Please check your order upon delivery. If there is any damage or an issue, contact us within 48 hoursof receipt with details and (where applicable) photos.

Note: These Terms are subject to change at any time. By placing an order, you agree to the most current version of these Terms.

While we do not accept returns, refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

• Your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

• Your order is lost during shipping and tracking confirms non-delivery.

Please note:
If you choose an untracked delivery option (such as Royal Mail 2nd Class), you do so at your own risk. We are not liable for items lost or undelivered when tracking is not selected.

Refunds will be issued for the product cost only, excluding shipping fees, unless the issue arises from an error on our part.

No Returns or Exchanges

Due to the nature of our food products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. This is to protect the safety, freshness, and quality of our goods.

If your item arrives damaged or is lost during shipping, please contact us immediately. We will do our utmost to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.

To report a damaged or lost item, please contact us via the Contact page with your order number and a description of the issue. For damaged items, please include photographs of the damage.
