Caribbean Canapés Too
This is a hands on class consisting of step by step cooking and demonstrations. Over 2.5 hours you will learn to make authentic Caribbean canapes using fresh ingredients whilst sipping cocktails (non-alcoholic ones also available).
You will learn to make the following;
- Accra - every island has a version of this saltfish dish but by a different name. Flaked pieces of salted fish in a light batter with chillies.
- Jerk Pepper Prawns - my take on a Jamaican party staple. Prawns cooked in jerk seasoning and chillies.
- Tamarind Dip
- Jerk Marinade
At the end of the session you will have the recipes and the skill to recreate them again and again.
The class is held over Zoom. You will be sent ingredients and a list of utensils required a week before the class. You will then be sent the link to the zoom session 2 days before the event.
